I was just wondering if anyone here uses planners, either only for organizing homeschool assignments or for personal use, or to keep track of family events/ commitments?   I love the concept of Franklin Covey and have a few of their binders, but have yet to 'spring' for a new, up-to-date package of their dated sheets, since it would be mostly for me.....

I have used MOTH, am presently trying to implement Managers of their Chores by Teri Maxwell, have been inspired by and used components of the "Flylady" system and "Sidetracked Home Executives".....not to mention the other 15 or so books on organization that I own so, yeah, I'm a bit of an 'order junkie'.   Remind me of this if you come to my house and things don't live up to what you know about me in this area thus far...LOL!!!

I have done FlyLady but hated all the e-mails.

I now have a "Home Management Binder" based on a combo of what I learned at www.keepingthehome.com and Large Family Logisitcs (can't remember their URL but I google search them when I need to go there).  I find that when I commit myself this works EXTREMELY well.  It covers meal-planning & groceries, daily schedules, kids' chores, homeschooling...  It's when I "fall off the wagon" that things suddenly seem overwhelming :(
